Induction
To welcome you to DB Schenker and to make you familiar with the company’s values, procedures and expectations, all new recruits must attend an Induction programme. During this programme they have the opportunity to meet with Directors and Managers of the company and meet many colleagues. This gives a great overview and insight into the company as a whole.
E-Learning
E-Learning is a special method to bridge organizational knowledge gaps by providing a cohesive virtual learning environment. E-Learning and Blended Learning (combination of traditional classroom training and eLearning) are effective and efficient parts of traditional methods of further education.
Even in the current economic climate, we believe that Learning and Development is an excellent way to show our continued investment in our employees, which benefits everyone, especially the service to our customers.
Following the positive impact of programmes in 2010, even more courses were introduced from 2011 onwards in addition to the current as well as continuing with our two and three year training programmes for all Supervisors and Management ensuring there is a wide variety of courses available for all our employees.
