South America – East Coast

• Southern Brazil – With the new CMA/MSC /CSAV Alliance,  there will be NO DIRECT call to Tilbury from Navagantes/Rio Grande /Parangua .
• Maersk/Hanjin/Cosco – have started new service from Itapoa  to replace Navagantes call  and together with Rio Grande and Paranagua toTilbury
• HSG/Hapag  have also changed their routing to have a direct service to TILBURY from Itapoa and  Rio Grande

The rate on this trade has been fairly stable for the last 12 months but can be expected to rise in April as reduced space will have effect on the rates.
